Margarita with chips and salsa

Spice up taco night with this make-at-home margarita recipe.

Prep time: 5 minutes

Servings: 2

Ingredients:

3 oz. tequila

1 oz. triple sec

4 oz. fresh lime juice

1 tbsp agave nectar

Crushed ice

Salt

Preparation:

1. Sprinkle salt in a shallow bowl or saucer. Moisten the rim of the margarita glasses with water, and dip in the salt. Fill glasses with crushed ice and set aside.

2. Measure the tequila and triple sec into a shaker or large glass. One ounce is equal to two tablespoons of liquid.

3. Cut fresh limes in half. Cut two rings from one of the limes and reserve as garnish. Squeeze the limes and/or use a citrus juicer. Add lime juice to the mixture.

4. Add agave nectar; shake or stir to thoroughly combine. Pour into glasses.

5. Slit the lime wedges with a sharp knife and place on rims of glasses.

6. Enjoy responsibly.
