Recipe: Surprising Summer Smoothie

If you're into health food, you've no doubt seen or sipped hundreds of smoothie recipes. This workout

recovery smoothie, however, can double as a delectable desert by adding an optional shot of your favorite liqueur. You'll find the surprising flavor combination of peanut butter, banana, and blueberry to be pleasing to the palate.

Servings: 2-4

Prep time: 5 minutes

Ingredients:

1 cup peanut butter

1 cup cup whipped cream

1 cup ice

1 banana

1 cup blueberries

Mint for garnish

Optional: 1/2 to 1 shot per serving of your favorite rum, chocolate liqueur, or anisette

Preparation

1. Wash fresh fruit.

2. Combine all ingredients in a blender or food processor. Blend until smooth.

3. Serve with a garnish of mint and enjoy!
